Now it just seems like no Legion or Chapter was immune to having some of their number falling to Chaos, which makes the DA's whole schtick seem less unique. There's also a story in the book in which a Chaos Space Marine of the Black Legion, who used to be a Blood Angel (or from a chapter of) finishes off a dying loyalist Blood Angel after a bloody battle.

In the core book for 9th Edition there's mention of loyalist Chapters being turned to Chaos even after the Horus Heresy during the 40k timeline.
